Broadrick Secondary School began operations in 1968 at Dunman Road, making it Singapore's first integrated government secondary school that combined English and Chinese medium instruction to support bilingual education and cross-cultural understanding. In 2005, it moved to its present campus at 61 Dakota Crescent, where it operates as a co-educational government school.

Admission Process

Entry to Broadrick Secondary School is based primarily on PSLE Achievement Level scores. As a non-affiliated school, there are no priority admission arrangements with any primary school. The indicative PSLE cut-off points for the 2025 intake are: Posting Group 3 at 7-22, Posting Group 2 at 21-25, and Posting Group 1 at 25-28.

Students may also apply through Direct School Admission (DSA) for the 2025 intake, with applications opening on 7 May. The available DSA categories are: Basketball (Boys), Leadership (Girls and Boys), Shooting (Girls and Boys), STEM (Girls and Boys), and Tchoukball (Girls). These allow students with particular talents in sport, leadership, or STEM to secure a place ahead of the PSLE posting exercise.

Broadrick implements Full Subject-Based Banding (SBB), which means students can take different subjects at varying levels (G1, G2, G3) according to their individual strengths. The school follows the GCE O-Level track over a four-to-five-year programme and does not offer the Integrated Programme (IP).
