Admission Process

Admission to Catholic High School (Primary Section) follows the Ministry of Education's annual Primary 1 registration exercise. The process is conducted online through the MOE P1 Internet System and proceeds through several phases: Phase 1 is reserved for children with siblings already enrolled in the school; Phase 2A accommodates children of alumni, staff members, or those from affiliated schools; Phase 2B covers children whose parents have volunteered at the school or who belong to affiliated organisations; and Phase 2C is open to all remaining eligible children.

When applications in any phase exceed available places, balloting is conducted. Priority during balloting is given to families residing within one kilometre of the school, followed by those within one to two kilometres. Parents should refer to the MOE website for the latest registration dates, eligibility criteria, and vacancy information for each phase.

For secondary admission, students may enter through the PSLE posting exercise based on Achievement Level (AL) scores, or through the Direct School Admission (DSA) scheme. DSA applications are submitted via the MOE DSA portal, typically opening mid-year, and are available in areas such as sports, performing arts, and academic talent. As a SAP school, Catholic High also admits students through the SAP pathway, and affiliated primary students receive priority consideration during the PSLE posting exercise.

Curriculum and Academic Programme
